Layal Nehme

Layal Nehme has a wide ranging set of skills that cover several domains including music, media, public relations and human resources. 

Born and raised amongst a family of musicians, her exposure to the professional field of music started from a very early age. 

Her experience as a solo artist performing in musical concerts and festivals span across several regions including the Middle East, North Africa and Europe. Her music genre falls primarily within the category of Lebanese, Traditional & Modern Oriental, Arabo-Andalusian and Aramaic.

Some of her more recent musical compositions and album/single releases include:

· Album release: Holmeh Mgawneh / Colorful Dreams (2020); Genre: Syriac-Aramaic/ Lebanese styles.

· Lyrics written: Rah Nerjaa / Together Again (2020); Performance by: The Nehme Family; Genre: Modern Arabic.

· Album release: Araka ya Allah / I See you My Lord (2019); Genre: Church Spiritual Chants.

· Singles composed and released: Ara Biladi / I see my homeland & Ta3a Ya Boukra/ Waiting for Tomorrow(2019); Genre: Modern Arabic

· Singles released: Damiit Watan / Tear of Homland, Biidi w Aribi / Far & Near, Ma Bfakir Fik / I Don’t Think of You, and Hali / My Situation (2017); Genre: Classical Lebanese and Modern Lebanese

Nehme holds a Masters of Sciences (MSc) in Social Politics and in Social Development from the Lebanese University - Ecole Doctorale. In addition, she studied Music at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), and at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music.

Nehme has held several senior positions in numerous organizations within the private sector including Director of Human Resources and Public Relations. 

Furthermore, with her vast experience in the field of Media and Communication she has developed and presented numerous documentaries and live programs in Lebanon and abroad dealing with social, educational, artistic and cultural topics. She has also featured as a host and commentator for numerous events and conferences.

Nehme has organized and facilitated executive-level workshops and seminars within the banking and finance sectors.

Moreover, she has delivered several workshops, seminars and conferences at highly reputable universities in Lebanon and international forums dealing with topics that include: Developing Interview Skills, Job Readiness Techniques, Job Search Techniques and Labor Market Information.

Nehme has also managed and organized several ‘Career Fair Exhibitions’ at highly reputable universities for the purpose of promoting job opportunities for students and alumni within both local and international companies and institutions.
